CASE STUDY: Assistive Medical Equipment (AME) Website Design

Assistive Medical Equipment (AME) needed a website to launch its debut product at an upcoming tradeshow. AME invents, develops, and manufactures products that help nurses and nursing assistants move elderly and disabled patients. The company wanted an informative site that would help get AME noticed and would lead potential clients to call or email to set up a demonstration or receive more information.

Canright Communications produced a highly informative, yet easily understandable, website that not only highlights the advantages of AME’s products but also establishes the brand as a contender in the industry. The AME team has been thrilled with the results.

Company founder Jim Orrico approached Canright because he was impressed with the firm’s depth of sales and marketing experience. The Canright staff met with him to discuss his vision for the company and its ongoing product development, as well as a demonstration of AME’s featured product, the EZRock™.

Canright then wrote copy to highlight the product’s benefits to healthcare facilities and their personnel. We also created a design that would showcase what’s new about EZRock™ and show the product in action. Canright’s designers created a step-by-step graphical introduction to the product to give potential customers a better understanding of how it works.

AME offers assistive products that empower the disabled and elderly, help to reduce the risk of lower back injury for caregivers, and allow for frequent use. The company was born when Orrico, an experienced product development engineer, saw a need for better patient transfer options not only for his own disabled family member but also to address the increasing rate of back injuries in the nursing industry. AME’s signature product, the EZRock™, is the first-of-its-kind device that helps reduce the risk of injury to caregivers while moving immobile patients.
