I am delighted to tell you that I've had several opportunities to drop your name with colleagues whining about their web sites. I say, ‘Well, I love our web developers,’ and they're amazed.

The Executives’ Club
CASE STUDY: The Executives’ Club of Chicago
The Executives’ Club of Chicago, founded in 1911, is one of the oldest and most prestigious business forums in the United States. Club staff worked with Canright Communications to mark The Club’s Centennial with a new web site design, calling the result “colorful, crisp, and easy to navigate, making it easier than ever for Executives’ Club members and guests to learn about Club programs and special Centennial activities.”
In setting up the new Centennial web site, the Executives’ Club sought to welcome both members and guests and to direct them to information about The Club’s history, programs, services, and resources. The home page presents prominently a video featuring William J Doyle, the President and CEO of the Potash Corporation, calling The Club “One of the leading business forums in the world.” This video opens to a series of brief testimonials from Club members and directors, introducing The Club to the online visitor. The home page also offers links to upcoming programs, Centennial celebration events and partners, and a photo gallery.
The web site also offers a calendar for the Centennial season, with information about each event and links to register online, and a timeline of club history showing how the growth of the club followed historical developments in the city, the nation, and the world. Visitors can access a multimedia library with videos and pod casts of past events, and members can log on to access the membership directory, update their profiles, and pay dues.
