To mark their 100th anniversary, The Executives’ Club of Chicago sought to create a special website, and they hired Canright Communications for the project. In an email to their 2,100 members, the Executives’ Club called the new site “colorful, crisp and easy to navigate.” The new web page offers a time line of the Club’s long history, a video library, a calendar of events, a membership directory, and other benefits.
Milestones
01.20.11 – The Executives’ Club
12.23.10 – James Instruments Catalog and Posters
In preparation for the World of Concrete 2011 show, James Instruments worked with Canright Communications on its new product catalog and posters for its booth. The Chicago-based manufacturer of testing equipment had us design a new look for the catalog and posters and streamline the content to showcase the basics of the products. We did the both English and Spanish versions.
10.15.10 – jPOS Service Sheet
Canright Communications wrote an information sheet for jPOS Consulting, which develops systems based on open-source software maintained by jPOS.org. Developers can use jPOS, a Java-based software framework and financial transaction library, to set up software protocols that allow financial institutions such as banks, trading firms, and exchanges, to trade messages and build links between their networks. jPOS, administered by jPos.org, is based in Uruguay.
09.30.10 – North Central Terrazzo Association
Invented by craftsmen in Venice during the Renaissance, terrazzo creates floors that are both beautifully artistic and extremely durable. Canright Communications is working with the North Central Terrazzo Association (NCTA)—an association of contractors and suppliers in the Midwest—to redesign the website, produce a monthly newsletter, and create a regular email marketing campaign for architects and designers. Canright also wrote and designed a brochure for Terrazzo flooring in healthcare facilities and created banner stands for use at conferences and conventions.
09.15.10 – Golden Equipment
Golden Equipment is a manufacturers’ representative for plastics processing equipment. Canright helped Golden create marketing banners for the PLASTEC Midwest trade show in Chicago, September 28-30, and an email marketing campaign to help get clients to the show and booth. Previously, Canright created a new look for the company’s business cards and redesigned the Golden Equipment website.
09.13.10 – James Instruments
James Instruments builds devices that provide non-destructive means to test concrete and construction materials for hardness, soundness, moisture and air content, and decay. In September, Canright completed print user manuals for two of their instruments, the Windsor Probe Test System and the Windsor Pin System. The Windsor Probe tests hardened concrete, both standard and high performance, for compressive strength, in Pounds per Square Inch or MegaPascals. The Windsor Pin is used to provide strength tests for concrete, mortar, and brick.
06.11.10 – Jeff Oberlin Inc. Website
Canright worked closely with Jeff Oberlin Inc. to create a website that tells a clear story of this client’s capabilities in enterprise learning and workplace productivity. The home page offers five options that a viewer can select depending upon the results they would like, from how to initiate a change in strategy to how to establish a corporate university.
06.04.10 – Bonne Brise Design Website
Canright Communications partnered with Bonne Brise Design to create the interior designer’s new website. The site focuses on the designer’s key strengths—personal attention, an eye for what is “right” for the space, and an emphasis on beauty and functionality. The site includes “before and after” photos that show the versatility of the Bonne Brise approach to interior spaces.
