Collin Canright has more than 25 years experience in finance, treasury management, banking, and payments.

When founding Canright Communications in 1987, Collin drew on his experience writing about treasury management, electronic payments, and electronic data interchange (EDI)—a forerunner of today’s ecommerce—to provide marketing and research services to banks, software companies, and consultancies.

Collin has served as managing editor of The Journal of Electronic Commerce, is co-author of Electronic Data Interchange: Guide for Health Care Institutions, and contributed sections on EDI networks and financial EDI to Bringing Health Care Online, a report published by the Office of Technology Assessment of the United States Congress.

Collin is a former editor of CASHFLOW magazine, where he specialized in corporate treasury management, including electronic funds transfer and financial EDI systems. He also served as staff writer then editor of EDI EXECUTIVE, the first newsletter dedicated to EDI.
